Bacchus-F Energy

A Fair & Honest Energy Drink Review

Bacchus-F Energy Retail Package Description

Bacchus-F looks like an old timey medicine bottle to me. The red, white, and blue colors, with the plain blocky font looks like it should have castor oil or some type of hair tonic in it more than an energy drink.

Caffeine Addict's Bacchus-F Energy Review

We obtained the Bacchus-F at an out-of-the-way Korean store, I don't know how widely available it is, but as energy drinks become more popular you may see more of it. This stuff tastes better than candy, I'd drink this if it made me tired. The great part is, somehow, even with it so sweet, it's not thick. Even more surprisingly, it has no carbonation, which most super-sweet drinks have, and mask the thickness of the drink. It does taste much better chilled.

The taste isn't explained, or very apparent when drinking. I taste some apple, and maybe some citrus fruits. Come to think of it, you could probably warm a bunch of this stuff up, and serve it as energy apple cider for the holidays.

Since I felt the rush of energy taking over about 5 minutes after drinking, my only complaint is that the bottle is so small, this still doesn't affect my value rating, because the drink was only 79 cents. You can buy 3 of these for the price of a red bull, and it's going to really get you moving.

Energy Junkie's Bacchus-F Energy Review

Wow, talk about great tasting. This drink was totally awesome. I was really worried when Jason picked this one out of the local Korean market. I was very curious to learn where the name came from. The only thing that I could really find was that Bacchus was the Roman equivilant of Dionysus, god of wine and intoxication. I wonder if that has anything to do with the product....

It tastes like a great apple and pineapple mixture. It is not carbonated but goes down very smoothly. The energy level was even pretty good considering the small 3.3oz size. To drink 8.4oz of this beverage would cost you roughly $2. That's not bad when you think of how far this little bottle had to come to make it here. You can also buy this product by the tens for $3.99 on the internet. That's about the same cost of any two energy drinks and the same amount of ounces. The down side to that is that you'll pay a little more than $4 just in shipping.
