Bomba Original

A Fair & Honest Energy Drink Review

Bomba Original Retail Package Description

Bomba continues to use the same strong logo design and ergonomic bottle shape as past products. This is a fun design as already proven by Little Hug which makes those cheap assorted fruit like drinks that can be purchased for something like 20c each.

Caffeine Addict's Bomba Original Review

If Rainbow Brite and Buddy Blue had an energy drink child, it would taste like Bomba Original Energy. You might have to throw in about 3 tablespoons of crushed up Smarties Candies to get it sweet and tart enough. I've got nothing but good things to say about the taste of this drink. If you're not concerned about sugar, you'll probably enjoy this drink as much as I do.

The urine color is a little less appealing than the other happy colors like blue and purplish/black. Carrying it around may result in people assuming you are homeless or crazy, or both. Particularly since you usually spill a little in your lap while removing the cap, it may be in your best interest to carry a donation jar as well. As a beggar, you've got two things going for you. You only need to collect $1.89 to continue to feed your Bomba addiction, and I see suckers giving away money to winos and vagrants on street corners all the time. Yes, we should all feel bad that we worked hard to provide for ourselves and our families, let's cleanse our middle-class souls by giving heroine addicts and alcoholics the cold hard cash they need to move forward in life one high/bottle at a time. That's exactly what they need.

This seems pretty much the same strength as the other Bomba products. It's not packed with energy, but it's packed with taste, and sometimes that's more important.

I've given all Bomba drinks perfect 10s on tastes, and if for no other reason, that makes all the Bomba drinks I've tasted at least a reasonable value. This is a great line of drinks, and I look forward to seeing what the sugar free version tastes like.

Energy Junkie's Bomba Original Review

I've never been one to like 'sorta' things. Candy that is 'sorta' sweet or pasta that is 'sorta' garlicky. If I'm to enjoy a candy it should be very sweet or the pasta should have so much garlic in it that my neighbors will smell it on me tomorrow. Bomba Energy is not a sorta drink. It is very sweet and very sour. It reminded me of eating a whole tube of ShockTarts in one sip. The initial taste was a lot like Big Dawg which was quite a shocker, though I continue to expect a lot from the folks at Bomba as they have continued to impress me with each drink. Like other Bomba products they could have a bit more of the energy and I'd love to see a larger, much larger size become available.
