Blue Agave Flavor, a product of the Coca-Cola Company. The can is bright blue, and I'd say the prettiest of all the new blue sodas.
I do appreciate the fact that this product lists per serving statistics as well as per container. This would be extremely beneficial on other products that have 2.5 servings, etc.
This had a very fruity taste. I can't say it tastes like agave, since I've never otherwise had agave. This may be a ploy by Coca-Cola, since calling it agave flavored is likely as accurate as calling it cherimoya, jackfruit, jujube, or sapote flavored. I think the vast majority of us wouldn't know the difference, but they all sound exotic. Ultimately, I don't feel that calling it agave flavor really helps the general public with a description.
The first thing to eliminate from your mind is "guava", which sort of looks/sounds the same, but tastes nothing like this drink portrays agave to taste like.
I like the taste of this drink, it's a lot like you expect a redish/pink sucker to taste like. Unfortunately, it's also about as strong, so after 16oz. I feel like I've eaten half a bag of jolly ranchers (both my teeth and stomach feel the discomfort). Served cold, it's refreshing, but I think, for once, an 8oz. serving might do.
The energy factor was about the same as the other Full Throttles, which is pretty good. It's certainly not standing ground with Rockstar Zero Carb, but who is?
At $1.99, I'd say this is a pretty good deal. I don't like it quite as much as the original Full Throttle, but I'd say that ultimately, it's more hit than miss for a crazy fruit flavor.
As all energy drinks seem to be jumping on the bandwagon of bright blue energy drinks, Coca Cola is no different by releasing Full Throttle Blue Demon. I'm surprised how similar the blue color is, as if they all used the same swatch book.
So far this is my favorite of all the Full Throttle drinks. Coca Cola describes it as Agave flavored which I?m not exactly sure what that is, but it came out like grape and strawberry mixed together; very fruity and sweet and pretty addictive. Agave is a plant from tropical America area and more commonly called Century Plant in reference to the long time the plant takes to flower. The great news is that it is used to treat all sorts of ailments including arthritic joints and constipation.
Though they've managed to upgrade just about everything in this can they forgot about the caffeine content. I think I might've gotten a bigger energy jolt from a large candy bar but it might be a tie for which tastes better.
