KMX

A Fair & Honest Energy Drink Review

KMX Retail Package Description

The KMX can is pretty bland looking. The logo looks more like a record company or crop circles. Also for some reason I can't seem to find out what KMX stands for. KMX is a Coca-Cola product though it doesn't say that anywhere on the can for some reason. This was Coca-Cola's first attempt at an Energy drink, which was soon replaced with the larger, better valued, better tasting Full Throttle.

Caffeine Addict's KMX Review

KMX tastes like Fanta orange, Sunkist, or any of those orange sodas, only with something extra. It almost tastes like there's a hint of hot sauce in there. It is pretty good, and a unique flavor, especially since most orange flavored sodas, like Rumba and Omega are so very bad.

I had the original formula, the can states that it's new and improved now, but I didn't really notice any difference, except the hot sauce afterburn, and of course the can had a yellow thing stating it was different. It's good, but I'll probably never buy it again. As far as Coca-Cola products go, the Full Throttle is much better for the price.

At $1.99, this 8.4oz. soda is always going to get beat up on value.

Energy Junkie's KMX Review

It was orange soda. It tasted just like orange soda, and the soda was literally orange. I'm pretty excited about the color of the soda, because most energy drinks are yellow and that's boring. I think if somewhere on the can it stated that it was orange flavored I would've been happier about it, because it would've been very accurate. Maybe if I were fonder of orange flavored beverages, this would be a better choice. There's also a hint of another flavor that was hard for me to put my finger on until the last sip, when I realized it was aluminum. I think the last sip hurt my teeth like if you accidentally bite down on a piece of tin foil. I could tell there was something going on in the energy department, but not much.
