"Energize Your Body & Soul", "Caffeine Free"...hold the phone, caffeine free? How about a refreshing sport drink with no water? "With Taurine", well, things are looking somewhat up. "Shake Gently. Serve Chilled". Is this a joke? I didn't shake mine, as I was in someone else's car, and I'm pretty sure that it would have fizzed out, causing a passion fruit mess. This drink does contain 10% real fruit juice, it's unfortunate that the fruit juice they picked is rancid. The only image on the can is a guy running, and he really does look like he's booking it...he must be trying to run away from the horrible taste of N-Motion. Try as you may, you're not going to run that stuff off your taste buds.
"N-Motion energy drink from BodyBlocks provides increased performance for the athlete or the person on the go."
"Get the energy you need to continue your day and enjoy the great taste of N-Motion."
I think the original draft included something like, "really, it tastes great, it says so right here on the can".
This drink tasted pretty bad, it had a hazy pink color, that was semi-transparent, for whatever reason, it made me think of glaucoma. The smell actually filled an entire Toyota 4-runner when I opened it, it's potent. It has a bold flavor, unfortunately, one that is unpleasant to my palate. It is very fruity, and I have no idea what passion fruit is, but I was assured by everyone traveling with us that passion fruit is what this is supposed to taste like. I can assure you, I'll never buy anything else claiming to be passion fruit.
I gave this a blip on the radar for energy rating, as it kept me awake (with the help of a wireless internet palm, and two sticky buns) riding in the back seat of a car for several hours. I felt sick most of the trip, but I'm not sure if it was eating two enormous cinnamon buns, or the grotty energy drink.
The value is where it shines, I got these on sale, and I'll drink anything for a dollar.
I took one sip of this, tasted the passion fruit, and gave it to Jason. He can tolerate the taste, so I'm mirroring his review, on energy and value, as I'm unable to stomach the taste of this drink, the Sugar Free or Regular versions.
