The can looks almost exactly like the non-sugar free Red Celeste, pinkish red color is now even lighter pink on the tops and bottom of the can. The extra text makes it look much more enticing.
Extreme Energy Lite
No Sugar Zero Carbs No Calories
"Lightly Carbonated", may not be completely accurate, since you could pour it into your hand and using it as shaving foam.
This is a great tasting no sugar energy drink. I dare say one of my favorites to-date. Very little of that sugar-free soda aftertaste. It seems really foamy for a "lightly carbonated" soda, and like Red Bull Sugar Free, the sodium count is up there are 160mg.
The product is distributed by the Pantry, along with a series of other sodas, so Pantry and Kangaroo stores may be the only place you can get them.
The cost is only $1.49, which is more reasonable for an 8.3oz. soda. This is ideal for me if I'm about to take a flight, go to a ball game, or any place I'm not completely thrilled about using the restroom, and extra favorable during the time of year I don't want a hot beverage like coffee. The small sized can means less need to go potty.
Overall I am much more pleased with this beverage as a no carb, no sugar...yada yada soda than the original version. Not because I've jumped on the 'no carb wagon' but because I would be much more likely to buy this as a better value and better flavored energy drink. The bonus is that it will help me maintain my fabulous figure and pep up my day. It seems to be a little more carbonated and less likely to give you the expected dragon breath afterwards. The smaller can size will always be a negative in my book, but overall I am quite pleased with this energy drink and at $1.49 you're getting quite a deal.
