Caffeine Addict's Rip It Energy Fuel Lime Wrecker Review

The guys at National Beverage have done it again! Great tasting soda, loaded with caffeine and taurine, for about half the price of comparable sodas. There's really no place to go wrong.

We've not yet reviewed the other new Rip It flavor, but I'll go ahead and tell you, both the new flavors are the best they've made yet. It tastes like lime jello, sans the jello, with carbonation added. The can is a fun green flavor, that makes me feel a little Irish.

I should warn readers, I'm slightly biased to tart citrus flavors. I'm a sucker for anything lime or lemon, especially lime or lemon suckers. If you don't like tart flavors, this likely isn't your drink, otherwise, this is a nice change of pace from most mainstream flavors.

As for energy, Rip It Energy Fuel has the specs to compare to any other drink on the market. My only complaint is the empty stomach feeling I get occasionally when drinking a Rip It, even after I've recently eaten. I haven't figured out what causes it, but it's reasonably infrequent, and can usually be relieved with a small snack.

Value goes without saying, at $1/each, you get 16oz. of energizing, great-tasting beverage. Everyone's a winner.

Energy Junkie's Rip It Energy Fuel Lime Wrecker Review

We have had such a past with Rip It energy drinks, and there have been some really good ones, and some that were just pretty good. I have a tendency to rate energy drinks with taste in mind first, followed by energy and then value. Rip It drinks have put things in a different order though because its impossible to beat the value and the energy level is usually so high. Lime Wrecker was no different. It gave me a great pick me up, and with the $1 price tag, how can you not be impressed with what a great value this is? As far as the flavor goes, I was not impressed at all. It reminded me of a hard limeade style alcoholic beverage which gave me stomach aches. After reading the website it seems that Lime Wrecker is supposed to be a margarita flavor, and I guess I could see that, but I just wasn't happy with the taste at all. Now having said that its important to remember that this will get a high rating overall because the value and energy were so high.
