Bomba Berry comes in the same fun style package as Bomba Black Currant.
Warhead candies were the best thing since K-Fed, not anymore. Now Bomba berry is the best, since it tastes like the outside (otherwise known as the good part) of a warhead candy, mixed together with the (otherwise, bland) center to make one overall tangy, tasty treat. It's like going to the orchard and rolling in fresh blackberries and blueberries every time you open a Bomba Berry energy. The taste is so good, I want them to make a cereal out of it, and use a blue ghost to market it, perhaps a strawberry drink with a pink Frankenstein, and a chocolate beverage with a brown-loving vampire. This is genius, where do I come up with this stuff?
Though the US government may give General Motors $10 million dollars to research making a $70k economy car that runs on this stuff, I doubt anyone will get a car to run on Bomba Energy, it's simply not strong enough. It has some of the usual energy suspects, and does an ok job, but it's no Rockstar Zero Carb, though I think it tastes much better.
At $1.89, Bomba energy makes me angry that I have to waste so much money paying the Employment Security Commission, and Social Security Administration. In fact, that makes me angry regardless of Bomba energy, and it should make you angry too. Perhaps Bomba has at least enough energy for you to get off your lazy keister and write your local "politician" (oh bother) and tell them that communism isn't the answer. Perhaps if we drank 2 Bombas, we could muster enough strength to go vote for someone who hasn't sold their soul for political power (for those thinking John Edwards, just pack another bowl, and keep idly complaining about Bush with your other hippie friends. I'd rather vote for Hillary, hold on, can I take that back? I didn't understand the ballot).
Bomba Berry Energy is a fabulous flavor and I couldn't get enough. It tastes exactly the way berry flavored items should taste. So many times a company calls a flavor berry and it winds up some random combination of red a blue berries but the folks at Bomba have nailed it just right. This reminds me of a cross between those frozen Icee pops that I used to eat during the summer and a wine cooler. It's sweet and refreshing yet not too sugary or bland and I can't help but feel ultra cool holding it.
The energy level was pretty good considering it only contains about 65mg of caffeine, it would be better if they went ahead an knocked a whole tub of caffeine and taurine likeRockstar Zero Carb does or Chaser used to. It only took me about 50 seconds to drink Bomba. If it were offered in a hat with straws attached to it you could sign me right up, but the 8oz size drink is more of a teaser than an energy booster. I feel like I say this a lot, but I can't wait to see if Bomba will offer a larger size beverage. Really I think I could drink these all day, though I don't think carrying a bag of glass drinks around with me would be safe.
